What systems do you own? What systems have you owned (portable and console)? How many games do you currently have for each? When I get more time I'll post mine if this takes off.
Figured we could get a base knowledge of how far back some of us go with exp. in playing systems. Not to discriminate, but to get an idea on age and system ownership.
I'll just say my DS games now :
Pokemon Diamond, FFIII, Children of Mana
Between me and my bro:
NES (bro)
SNES
N64
GCN (mine at my bro's)
Wii
Game Boy
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
DS
I don't know about the games, only that there are a lot.

exact same. i'll spare you the torture of me trying to remember the 20 or so games i own for each of those systems
WOOT!! high five for old-schoolers!
I wasn't looking for game names, just a rough estimate on # of games per system.
And I'm also saying not only in the nintendo line. I've owned every nintendo system released by nintendo in the US (minus the Gameboy Pocket). This is more of a gaming bio I guess.
Here's what I recall, though most of this is in storage elsewhere due to spacial issues:
Odyssey 300: Pong
Atari 2600: 25 games
Commodore VIC-20: 30-40 games
Odyssey^2: 30-40 games
Atari 7200: ~10 games
NES: ~160 games
Sega Master System:~20 games
Sega Genesis: 20-30 games
SNES: ~40 games
Virtual Boy: ~10 games
Sega Saturn: 1 game
PS: ~20 games
N64: ~10 games
GC: ~25 games
Xbox: ~25 games
Wii: ~5 games
GB/GBC/GBA: ~15-20 games
DS: ~5 games
All totaled I have about 400 games and 18 systems. The LARGE majority of all of this came about in college where I picked up stuff for dirt cheap. Boxes of stuff for $5 or less. Some of my better deals include a box with an SNES, top loading NES, 10 games, controllers and hook-ups for $5. Another deal was an NES, controllers, hook-ups and the lot, and 65 games for $5. Pretty sweet deals. I also bought a second top loading NES for $3. All of these came at garage sales over two summers.
The only systems I ever bought at launch were the GC, Wii, and GBA. The only other systems I bought new were the 64, PS, DS, and Xbox, and all of that came by my own means. The rest I (or my parents) picked up used throughout the years for next to nothing.
I grew up on the Odyssey^2, NES, Genesis, SNES and eventually the 64 and Playstation. Started gaming (that I can remember) at 3 in the early 80's with the Odyssey^2 and Atari. I'm totally a retro gamer. My NES/SNES still gets played almost as much as any modern system.
Man.... I need a better place so I can bring some of this out of storage. Right now I just have my DS, Wii, NES and SNES with me with a handful of games for each.
