We've moved way beyond the DIY models and onto the mass produced ones! Certainly not the first (or last) Wii-mote gun, here's Piranha Shooting Gun for €19.99 (US $27). Picture is junk, but apparently the pistol has a rubber coating for grip and a real, working trigger. That's good, 'cause otherwise, what's the point?

Sweet. Probably won't get it though, since 1) I don't use that currency, and 2) I've never heard of Piranha before, so i probably can't trust them so much.
but it looks so sweet. better than the crappy US models we've seen that have you just stick the remote in the top and has a "barrel" completely dis-proportional to the rest of the gun. the balance in this model would make it more comfortable instead of the other top heavy one
It looks much more like a gun than the one that the Wiimote goes in but I'm not understanding. Does the Wiimote not connect to it at all?
looks like it still slides into the top, but the rest is proportionate, so it just doesn't look like it'd fit. as previously stated, it's very well designed
i wonder if you can fit a remote with a glove in these peripherals...
why would you want to?
My thought exactly. I really doubt if any accessories will be made to have enough room to also keep a glove on. I mean what happens to those who don't use one. There'd be just enough enough room for the darn Wii-mote to possibly fall out.
most of those glove things are crap anyway. they're impossible to work with until they've been worked enough to be workable and after that happens they become so stretchy that it kinda defeats the purpose, plus it's a pain in the arse to get the batteries switched out. i have a friend that was stupid enough to get one along with a wiimote and classic controller over a month before he finally had his wii. we joke about how it's useful as nothing more than a broken condom. or when it's dark enough it can be an invisible, bendable, glowing wiimote that you can only touch the glowing part. the only thing cool about them is that they glow in the dark, and that is not worth much. i've had my wii since february and i don't treat my wiimote like a million bucks, but it's still working just fine. it has teeth marks, a sticky a button, and a surprising lack of dents because i really beat on the thing, but it still works great, and i have yet to find a reason as to why anyone would need a silicon glove for their wiimotes. they really don't look that nice, they make it harder to hold because the make the wiimotes bigger, and they won't protect anything you might hit anyway. i've lost the grip on my wiimote a number of times and should lost something each time, but i didn't because ninty makes durable stuff and i don't flail around like a lunatic (most of the time. why do you think there are teeth marks on my wiimote?). the gloves are about pointless.
i use it because it looks cooler, i actually enjoy the cushioned grip, and i find my hands don't get as sweaty, or it just doesn't feel that way. also, since i won that glove on here as a new member, it's a reminder of WiiLoaded for me (and offers an opportunity to mention WiiLoaded to friends when they ask about it

), but that's a different thread
i asked if the controller would fit with the glove because it'd be one less instance i'd have to take it off. i'll just stick the 2nd or 3rd remote in there

sure it will use the wii-mote. slide it in the front part and the wii-motes sensor thing will stick out the front of the gun. I'm sure it'll be a snug fit, cause you don't want that $49.99 wii-mote coming out when your reloading
i still don't like the buttons on top. i don't see how you can push them at all
If you plan on playing Super Paper Mario with the Wii-mote attached to the light gun, then you might have an issue, but if your playing a game like RE, especially if it's on rails, then you'll probably be fine.
Looks cool, but I'm not really sure what to use it with. Because with most of the shooter games out there you also need the nunchuk.
Lokks cool, now people will blame more gun killings on the Wii, woo hoo <_<
This is great, it is like playing one of those arcade shooting games in your own home.
That would be sweet!
I guess they could make it since its got a built in nunchuck....
I geuss we will just have to wait
