Comming This Summer to VC : Neo Geo System
I forget where, but I have read 2 articles on this so far. I think one was at IGN.
Yes it was, but it's alright. This
thread has one of the sources. But I'm interested to see what kind of game this has because I never played one.
That's really cool. I'm interested in the King of fighters series and I love fighting games.
The Neo Geo had some great games including the KoF series as mentioned above.
but arent they friggin huge file-wise, better stock up on sd cards
I'm not sure, I don't think they are.
if I remember correctly they aren't too big. But be warned, if you have anything against fighitng games, don't bother with neo-geo. Except for a very few titles, most were fighting games. Bah but I don't mind, I've never really played 90% of neo-geo's titles anyway. @_@
THIS was a handheld so i expect gameboy to be in the vc lineup soon! =D
neo geo was not a handheld. neo geo pocket was though.
they had a lot of side scroller action games. their most famous are the metal slug series; best animation for it's time.. sengoku was also pretty cool for it's time too. they do have a ton of fighter games. the ones i would recommend are Samurai Showdown 1 &2. King of Fighters 2k(and up) the older stuff doesnt translate well for this gen. Last Blade is incredible. sooo much depth. i highly recommend that one. neo geo also had a ton of overhead/ bird's eye view type of games. nothing really all that memorable in that dept. they did have one soccer game that was just a blast to play. i forgot the name though.

lol i got them confused!
i remember neo geo game cartridges being 100 bucks a piece and that was 25 years ago, there were technically superior to every other game system at the time, remember a lot of fighting games but the list is pretty extensive, i'll pick up one at least
