I saw this article and thought it was quite interesting. We all know that Pokemon Battle Revolution will be the first Wii game to support online play for North America and we know that it's scheduled for release on June 25th but what we didn't know is that there's the possibility of another game with online play on that same day. Nintendo has said that along with Pokemon Battle Revolution being released on June 25th that also BIGS (2K Sports Baseball Game) will also be released. It was reported earlier that BIGS was supposed to include online play. This means one of two things that either there will indeed be two games to play online on June 25th or for some reason that BIGS will not have wi-fi as reported earlier.
Which do you think it will be? Do you think we will have two online games to play on June 25th? I hope the answer is yes but as always, only time will tell.

It probably won't sell to well with PBR as competition.

Nintendo said that there will be no third party online this year, so chances are almost certain that the answer is no. Blazing Angels was also originally to have wi-fi
when did Nintendo say there was no online games for 3rd parties this year??? They have already distributed the Online Wii Dev kits...
I don't think they ever did say that. But I think The BIGS will come out on that day as well since it was confirmed earlier to be online when it was announced.
ninty never said anything about no 3rd party online this year. to the contrary, they've stated that 3rd parties got their online kits some time ago and online will flood out after pbr.
Don't kill the messenger and reporter or whatever. I'm not the one saying that this is definitely going to have online play. I'm just saying what Nintendo said. They said that BIGS would come out on the same day as PBR but they DIDN'T say whether or not it would be online. It may or may not be. We'll have to wait for the game or confirmation.
