arceus is an event pokemon that you get one of 3 ways:
1-do the event
2-cheat
3-complete the other 492 pages of the national pokedex, which requires more of the above options to do anyway
good luck to anyone not able to get the event and is too errogant to get an action replay. you're gonna need it.
(of coarse i'm excluding the whole "trade for one" thing because in most cases you'd have to be psychotic or otherwise completely retarded or have a severe mental illness. or i guess you could also maybe take advantage of a smart friend's stupid sibling)

I cant get like half the Pokemans Like Palkia, I have to first see it, but when playing online, it doesnt go to your Pokedex.

i know, that sucks out loud, too, because without seeing everything on the pokedex you can't trade for everything online, which really makes it that much harder than it should be. the incusion of online should have been made in a way that it was easier to complete the game, not harder to get even more pokemon.

it was. now you dont have to buy the other version or look for ppl that have it. and of course online battles dont go to your poke dex. battles outside the "story mode never gets you money, exp., and other things.

it's annoying because on the new games to get stuff off the gts you have to have seen the pokemon to request them in a trade and without being able to first see the pokemon on your game it's just harder to complete the pokedex because now there's a boat-load more pokemon to catch and raise, including more legendaries only obtainable by cheating or events.

it is annoying that you have to see the pokemon first, but its still better than what you had to go before.
also only 3 new pokemon are only obtainable throughs events or for the weak-willing, cheats.

you forgetting about Mystery Gift. Its possible that one of the event pokemon will be obtained that way. and Manaphy is not an event pokemon because you dont have to go to some event to get it. yes it may cost 35 bucks, but you can always sell it back for 17. plus the game isnt that bad. i'd say its the best pokemon spin-off game.

first off there is mystery gift in Diamond/Pearl, and i'm not telling you off. the way your talking seems to me that you use cheats to get "event" and shiny pokemon and all sorts of stuff. which buy the way manaphy is not an event pokemon seeing as you can get Manaphy any day you want, as opposed to the others where you can get them only as a certain time. another is why would you want to restart your game? if you worked so hard on the game and dont want to loose the pokemon them why restart it.
on a sidenote, just got a jap. lv. 31 Lucario for a lv. 20 wormadam.
