almost everything on there is crap. i was at a friends house where i could finally get online (our router has a MAC address filter and it'll likely be june before i can get it either taken off or my DS added to it.) i tried trading my newly hatched happiny for a male gyarados. got nothin. my friend managed to trade a gyarados for the 2nd form of the monkey starter that had no fire-type moves but knew grass knot. he wants his gyarados back.

why would he want his gyarados back. it knows grass know, so it can take of its weaknesses with that attack, and he/she could just teach it a fire attack.

i count 5-arceus (you have to complete ur pokedex, which requires the other event pplz, or do an event to get it), manaphy (not many people bought ranger and manaphy is not worth $35, phione (you have to get manaphy to get it), darkrai, and shaymin. only 3 required events but 2 more pokemon that depend on those events.

mystery gift on the last gen pokemans required 5 GBAs and the chances of getting an event item aren't the highest. the most i was ever able to get together was 4. as far as i know, there is no mystery gift in d/ p (although i could be mistaken). manaphy is an event pokemon, even though it may not seem like it. you still have to meet certain requirements on both games and fallow through more or less the same type off steps you'd fallow in any other pokemon event. i'm short on money so $35 for pokemon ranger is a lot to waste when i might want something better (like my diamond version) and no, i can't sell it back at all, let alone for half its worth if i could. before anything gets out of hand stop telling me off because i have no way to travel cross-country to get to special events and still like to get what i can out of my games. besides, if you do all the event stuff you can't start a new file without losing it all unless you have some way of backing up the pokemon, (i.e. trading to another game card) and then you still can't go to the places where the events let you go without finding a way to do them again.
