-----Video Review coming soon!-----
Although many people would want to criticize this game for simply being a GameCube port with Wii controls, it's a great addition to the Paper Mario franchise. Here's Super Paper Mario for the Nintendo Wii!
Story
Soon after the kidnappings, Princess peach wakes up to find that she is in a wedding dress and at the alter with browser!! Now, before i get all worked up, we must clear something up.... Why are Peach and Bowser getting married? Well, after reading through a million pages of dialog, you find out that a book called the "Dark Prophase" predicts that the marriage of this lovely couple will create the Chaos Heart, which will destroy all of existence!! But for some reason, peach refuses to get married. So Blechs little toady hypnotizes her into saying "I do". After those fettle words were spoken, a large black heart appears that shakes the whole world! Peach slowly faints out of conciseness....
I must say, I did not see that coming. I had no idea that Nintendo would take Peach and Bowser and force them to marry in one of there own games! But besides that, there really is nothing new to this story. Wow, the world is in pearl again and peach is kidnapped! What will Mario do? Why of course! He's going to go save it! Nothing really new and surprising, but it still has that cartoony feel and look. The dialog almost makes my eyes want to bleed from all that reading. But it is well worth it for the jokes!

Graphics
In the game Super Paper Mario, the big thing is the fact that you can flip from 2d to 3d. In the 2d part of the game, everything is nice and crystal clear. The backgrounds are nice, the people of Flipside are great looking and everything has a very stylized look.
Now, when one flips into 3d, everything changes! The crystal clearness changes, the stylized look changes, and sometimes it doesn’t even feel like the same game. This isn't as bad as it could have been, but it still isn't the greatest. I would have loved to see a nice looking 3rd dimensional world kind of like from the other Paper Mario games.

Gameplay
Almost all games use the wii-mote in a forward manner. This is great for using the pointer and so on. In Super Paper Mario, you hold the wii-mote sideways as if you were about to play an old NES game. The great thing about holding the controller this way, is that it gives a nice old school feel to the game. The directional pad works great for moving around in 2d, but in 3d, the d-pad is big trouble. Everything else though works really well on the wii-mote.
When it comes to progressing through the game though, there are plenty of great 2d and 3d puzzles. Its sometimes is rather frustrating (in a good way) to not know were to go and all along all you had to do was go into 3d. That’s basically all the 3d puzzles are.... It’s simply flipping from 2d to 3d to find the secret passage way. It gets old but never predictable. The 2d puzzles however, it gets a little harder. They are very different and also very fun. Besides 2d and 3d puzzles, there are abundance of great puzzles that will use the powers of the pixels. Weather it be stomping on a stump, or throwing a block, there its great to see that the partner workings are not dead yet.
If one wishes to progress through the game only doing the one main quest, you may. But if you wish to do side quests along the way, you can do those as well! The side quest can be anything from a fun mini-game, or doing a short task to get another non-needed pixel. I personally found the mini games the best. Even thought they aren’t that in depth, they are very fun and addicting. But if you want something to do for 2 hours, then the Pit of 100 trials is for you! It’s basically a big puzzle maze with many enemies in it. It takes little or no time to find an enemy with the key to go to the next trial. As you progress though, the bad guys get tougher, the mazes get more confusing and everything just gets hard! But its great to have a nice fun side quest that could put 4 or 5 hours into your game.
So as a quick some up of the Gameplay, everything works great and is really fun. The controls could work better in the 3d world, but it works and isn't a real big deal. The puzzles are fun and enjoyable and with many mini games that will keep you playing, its a great game Gameplay wise.

Music
Back in 1999, I had just bought Paper Mario for the N64. I was excited and ready for the next great Mario adventure. When I put the cartridge in and watched the intro video, I was simply blown away at the music. And as I would play through the game, I would always think, "Wow. This music really adds to an already great game." Then much latter I got Paper Mario, The Thousand Year Door for the GC. And once again, as I would play through the game, I was blown away even more then i was with the first game. So when I popped in Super Paper Mario, i was ready to get the best Paper Mario music I had heard yet. But, sadly, many of the tracks in the game, seemed like a step down from the other 2 games. The music was good, but it just wasn't the same for me. It didn't have that same stylized, poppy feel to it. I would give Music a higher score if the tracks had blown me away or even simply lived up to the other 2 games tracks, but since they didn't even come close.....The score may take a bad beating....

Story-8/10-Nothing really new, but it still is great to read the dialog for the great jokes!
Graphics-8.5/10-A great game graphically, but all the stylized looks go away when you flip into 3d.
Gameplay-9.5/10-Great gameplay! Its fun, enjoyable and is an awesome addition to the Paper Mario family!
Music--6.3/10-It just didn't seem like it really lives up to the other 2 games in the series. I know someone will get mad about this, but it is true....
Overall-8.8/10-An awesome game that is fun to play with few kinks. But because of the music and the Story, the score hurts.
Get this game?
I would have to say, YES! It’s fun and really great to play! Just don't expect much from the Story or Music....
