0_oIf you ask me this is absolute crap! But hey i fought i would share this with you guys anyways
I think the PS3 is more innovative. Wii is great, but hey the PS3 is providing a full life system (PS HOME) and a complete multimedia function.

If you say so..but dont forget all the things wii offers!
I disagree. I don't think the PS3 is more innovative than the Wii. The PS3 is more powerful technology wise, but all the games you will see on the PS3 will look and feel like all the old games on PS1/2 but with beautiful graphics. The nintendo wii controller alone makes it more innovative. Wii changes the way games are played, while PS3 just changes the way they look. I already have a computer so I don't need another 600 dollar computer with a controller.

Like umean2tellme said, The PS3 is stronger tech wise but Wii is more innovative than the PS3 because of the Wiimote alone, but there's more to it and what it offers.

PS3 may still be more powerfull but there is no real way that the PS3 can match the Wii-mote....

The Wii remote beats the PS3's power and technology any day.

While I hate to seem like a raging fanboy, I beg to differ. =)

Although the PS3 is offering a lot of features on their console, the key word here is innovation, everything that's on the PS3 we've already seen before in common life. The Wii on the other hand uses motion sensitive technology and how many people can say they have motion-conrtolled objects in their houses?

This traditional tech hardware maker is devoting more resources to software

uh...no they aren't! That would be Nintendo.

These people don't knoe the meaning of the word, they shouldn't even use it!
Look closer guys, from what I read of the article this has more to do with software than it does hardware, and if thats the case then I don't totally disagree. When's the last time Nintendo created an intuitive new franchise? Pikmin? 6 years ago? Fire Emblem, Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Pokemon, Star Fox...these comprise the majority of Nintendo's lineup other than these "simple" games like Brain Age or Wii Play.

Sony has created a lot of (good) franchises in the last decade or so: Jak, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, God of War, ICO/Shadow of the Colossus, Heavenly Sword, Killzone, Gran Turismo, etc. As has Microsoft: Halo, Fable, MechAssault, Forza, Project Gotham Racing, Blue Dragon, Lost Oddysey, etc.

Nintendo has to start making some (good) new franchises. Hopefully Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project HAMMER are a good start.
On the hardware side, I can understand. What's a Wii? A Games console, and an innovative one at that. A PS3? A Semi-innovative games console, home theatre manager, blu-ray, and even a small linux PC, all in a very affordable price (considering what you get). There's where I think the logic may be. Let's also not forget all the software, TVs, Digital Cameras, and many other great innovative products they produce. All Nintendo has is games...
I laughed so hard when I saw this that milk came out of my noise! The weird thing is I was even drinking milk...

Hardware wise, Nintendo wipes the floor with the PS3 and 360. Software wise, well there a lot of companies out there that have some amazing games and I couldn't fairly say who has the advantage without doing some research that I'm frankly too lazy to do.
