Simple:
Who has Diamond and who has Pearl.
ive noticed that sales seem to lean towards whichever comes first out of the set of games. Red was more popular than blue. Gold > Silver. and Diamond will be > than Pearl i think. I wonder why that is.

pearl just sounds too... feminine for me
I got Pearl, particularly because I felt, based on Japanese sales figures, that Diamond may sell more. This would, in theory, make it easier to get exclusive Diamond Pokemon via trade than exclusive Pearl Pokemon (If one only has one game).
So, thats my thought.
I picked up Pokemon Diamond. Not for any particular reasons, I just like Diamonds more than Pearls.
this time i went based on which i though looked better, which was diamond. like cdrober getting pokemon wouldnt be hard with GTS.

I picked up Diamond because. Diamond > Pearl Dialga > Palkia Diamonds > Pearls

I'm going to vote for diamond. I don't have it, but it's the one I'm getting in July. I know for 100% sure I'm not getting pearl. I always pick up the first one, my friend the second. so i'm happy. even though this time he wants diamond. I don't buy the "third" game*

i got diamond (Dialga looks better then Palkia in some cases)
Brawler if you think Palkia is better, why did you get Diamond?
it didnt really matter to me cause i wouldnt use them, and i knew i could get a Palkia via GTS if i put up the right price. it just came to who looks better, Dialga. and it has a cooler name. also Pearl seemed feminine
You will never get a Palkia off of GTS, for any Pokemon thats not Legendary.
i know that. i have the legendary dogs and Ho-oh from Pokemon Colosseum, and the legendary dogs and Lugia from Pokemon XD. i can also get Jirachi cause i have the Bonus Disc, and i can get Phiones from my Manaphy. so i got options.
may I have that Ho-Oh? ;p

I'm pretty sure i have all of the legendaries, at least the ones that didnt need events to get. Eventually i will transfer all of my good stuff to diamond and start over with the other games to get duplicate legendaries for trading.
