Wow I would have never guessed cel-shaded graphics Toungue
It still looks like an interesting game.
The Wii gets Guilty Gear?! I love you Nintendo. ;_;
Yes! Guilty Gear for Wii!
This looks like every Guilty Gear I've ever played......but that's NOT a bad thing! I enjoy the Guilty Gear series and their over-the-top characters. Playing with the Wiimote should be intersting. I know my best mate (huge fighting game fanatic) will be so jealous. He's already jealous of DBZ on the Wii with Wiimote controls.

I'm also a fighting fanatic and I'm waiting for news on Soul Calibour 4. From that it sounds like Guilty Gear is a good game I've never played one before.

What the heck is Guilty Gear?
It's kinda like Darkstalkers or Street Fighter. It's a fighting game with wacky, yet cool characters. It has been on many different systems and has had many incarnations. The last one I played was on the PSP though. My friend still plays it in the arcade.
was the psp version any good???
I enjoyed playing it with my friend but not so great for the 1-player aspect, but most fighting games aren't anyways.
Sometimes computers aren't really challenging. But I'm liking this game the more I hear about it.

Quote:
The game jumps quickly between the character select screen and fights, with most loading done in the background. You also have access to all the requisite modes, including arcade, vs 2P, vs CPU, survival, gallery, and a full training mode.

Visuals and sound are... well, it's Guilty Gear. Aside from some strange sound imbalance issues, which you can fine-tune in the options menu (why this wasn't done by the developer before release is anyone's guess), these areas weren't exactly candidates for improvement in the move to the Wii. For Nintendo fans who are new to the series, Guilty Gear XX used to have the distinction of being the only high resolution fighter, back when SNK and Capcom were stuck with their legacy sprites. High res has moved on to high def, and the Guilty Gear series now looks just as bad running on a high definition set as any other standard definition game.

I used to play GGXX#R online all the time. This is going to be great.

Melty Blood is still better though :>
