Hey guys!

I just made some server side changes and reduced the impact of a page view on our server load by about 45%

Thing's should run a little quicker for you guys now Wink

Just a heads up Smile
Thanks dude, I've noticed!
Great news.
Can't say I notice anything -.-
Cool, I probably can't notice it...but it's there! Toungue
I've seen it load a little faster...but not much. Still its an improvement.
I've actually been getting some pretty major slow downs today. I thought it was on my end but other things seem to load normally.

EDIT: I'm almost positive that it's on my end, but nonetheless it all started today. And don't tell me that I need to clear my cache to fix it. >_<
restart?
Yeah, I think it is loading a bit faster for me. Well at least the buttons (add pic, link, email, quote, etc...) are.
clear the cache
Wow...
Thats alot better!
Thanks dude!!

All three browsers have cache

IE is the best at handling it.
FF usually keeps it right, but sometimes you get an old page
Opera (on its default settings) is the worst, it holds on to pages too long

I changed the settings around on mine. I always had it check documents all the time and have moved the image checking up to each hour. I had it set at every 24 hours but was getting too many problems when things were updated.

it's minor but its a start. good job.

Ok, thanx

the site freezes and times out on me quite a bit
Kudos on reducing the load, D4rk. You do a great job at handling this stuff. I wish we could do more to repay you.
