Unless they are holding back the Japanese version to release it like the other regions then I'm not sure we'll get it anymore than 3 weeks later.

lol. holding back the JP versions. right anything would work as long its not as bad as it was with Melee.

For those of you who haven't been following the threads, the popular Smash Bros. Dojo, located at http://www.smashbros.com, is getting revamped, and there's a countdown to when the site will launch. Many rumors and speculations are going around, according to Gonintendo.com.

RUMOR #1: Web Counter.

Many are speculating that the release date of the much anticipated game will be release to the public when the counter hits zero.

RUMOR #2: Two Versions?

According to the Japanese gaming magazine, GameLab, there is a big rumor going around that there will be two versions of Brawl: one for the Wii, and one for the Cube. They will differ in controls, but it was already confirmed that (if true) the Wii version will not use motion sensors.

RUMOR #3: Pray it isn't true!

Also from GameLab comes a rumor of a secret character. Somebody green. Somebody evil. Somebody that thinks he's a fairy. That's right. The rumor says that TINGLE will be in the game. Well, at least we can TRY to beat some sense into him...

Note that these are all rumors, so take these with a grain of salt. My God... Tingle? My worst fears have come true. Somebody put a freaking bullet through my skull.... NOW.

It's basically a re-launch of the website they have up now. Only with more information and probably more frequent updates.... So I'm told. >.>

RUMOUR #1 = False, the only way it could be defended is with Kojima's words earlier. About Brawl feeling nearly complete.

RUMOUR #2 = I'll say false, the Cube is dead. Even Super Paper Mario was moved from GCN to Wii. Why put a brand new game on the GCN now?!

RUMOUR #3 = False because I hate Tingle, lol, that's all I got.

anyway all three rumors can't be true mainly because they're so ridicuilous.

im thinking that they may release brawl at about the same time in the us as in japan

or at least i hope

it wont be the same time, but it'll be very close

so i can go and beat some american and japanese people online in the same day

ya, i hope the first rumor is true, and if the second one is true i really wouldnt care, but if the third one is true i'll have to kill myself

why be mad? the cube wouldnt be as good as the wii version anyway because of lack of online play

well its for personal agenda then thats not a good reason. JP always gets first rounds with few exceptions, but it wont be any different fot SSBB

hmm if they release it in japan first, i may have to buy a japanese wii and japanese brawl

then buy the american version when it comes out

i think rumor 1 could be part true. they could give us a specific month, but not specific day. they would be nice of them.
