i just noticed something. The Smash Ball is under the How to Play section. i'm thinking if it was a item that can be turned on and of then it'd be in the Item section. this could mean that the Smash Ball will appear regardless if items are turned off.
Lol, good question but you read it wrong. It's not talking about the Smash Ball it's talking about the Final Smash skill. The action. Not the item.
Lol, Link's FS sounds pretty lame... let's hope there's some sort of knockback after the combo. I wouldn't want to get shined after doing a long combo, and then end up getting a long combo performed on me because of the lag to come from the FS. For example after I do Link's FS my opponent is still standing there and I'm now open for a shine combo.

well what didi you expect him to have. and the super scope is not an update. they've now opened up a technique section under how to play.
Moving and shooting.. nothing special, but it will be easier to charge the Super Scope.. do you think Samus will have that feature too?
Ya I do actually. I think it would only make sense because they did it to all shooting items.
I doubt Samus will have this feature. It will make her cheaper. Being able to shoot projectiles and run around? Sounds like the makings of a broken character.

UPDATE! Cracker Launcher... It shoots non-stop fireworks.
Yeah alright, who the hell cares about the item? What has everyone excited *coughbecauseofmecough* is the fact that you can aim up and down while shooting it. UP! You can aim UP and run at the same time? So what did that leave me to propose to the SSBB community? That they scrapped the control stick jump. It's not official, but if they did I would love them forever and it would make shooting Pit's bows upwards ALOT easier.
People said that "it could use the c-stick to aim up" and people backed me by saying that it CLEARLY said "control stick". Others said "you can lightly tilt and not jump. Then people responded with a "how the hell are you going to efficiently aim and move then?". It has me pumped. Very pumped.

The Cracker Canon is ok i guess but people are more focused on characters and other things than they are on items.
id rather they release more info that will help the smash community considering most smashers dont use items...
considering how much time there likely is between now and the game's release, and that these updates come (week)DAILY... there's a lot of time to reveal information. The game is in all likelyhood not coming out before Sept. considering the first online games comin in june, july and then metroid in aug.. So to blow all the big information on the game would give them less interest of updates in the future.. and would ruin the fun. Plus you can speculate on the bigger picture with these little updates, like Ricky has.
I think it's cool to see any of this new stuff, including items. The whole moving and shooting idea is very interesting considering what we know of the controls already. Could it be that we hold another button to aim the gun with the control stick? There are a couple buttons that have the same purpose - X & Y buttons, L & R...

if i didnt know any better i;d say you were lemon, and you do have a point but theres so much to super smash bros. to reveal, so revealing the really important stuff more often wouldnt hurt.

well, it could cancel out the up as jump (since ull be pressing it to tilt) and then ud have to use y or x to jump. theres more then one way to do thing. and the u move back and forth like normal, with the control stick
they're also REALLY stretching things out, and we only get information on weekdays. theres so much more they could show us but instead they show us thing like, what the tiles look like on a lvl, and how detailed it is. at the rate their going their gonna finish a yr or two after the game comes out
