What’s an Assist Trophy?!

Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sort of like a festival that all sorts of characters show up for. Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that.

In any case, you won’t know who is in an Assist Trophy until you use it.

Assist Trophy's are pretty cool, but Samarai Goro, has what it takes to be apart of the roster.

Assist trophies aren't interesting to me.

But Samurai Goroh being only an assist trophy makes me sad in the pants. And gives me concerns about Ridley.

ya becuase i bet he will just be an assist trophey. actually when i looked at the webpage i thought that he was a main character and was like o.O and it was awesome but then i read and was sad >.<

Ridley as an assist trophy = Sakurai is a moron.

Lets hope he isn't stupid and makes him playable.

Assist trophies are just pokeballs for other characters, lame feature.

he's likely to be unlockable, so we wont see him for a while.

enough with Ridley, if Sakurai wants him there he'll be there in any form he chooses.

Samurai Goro would just be another character with a sword if he's added to the roster,which we have enough.

I still believe Ridley will be a full character because his music's there.

I thought the same thing and saw the yellow for item.

Lol, assist trophies change the game alot. Many beloved characters will now become items. =p

I still think all of the characters I predicted will be playable characters. Go Ike!

Samurai Goro was too minor of a character. Giving him a spot would have pleased a small group of people and disappointed a lot.

It would have disappointed me. Gives more hope for Black Shadow to be a playable character.

When I first took a glance at the site and seen Samurai Goro, I was like wtf ono thats crap, then I realised that he was an assist trophy and calmed down.

Lame indeed. Assist? Just put them in Pokeballs and call it a day.
