Would you rather have a brand new character with a new moveset... or Dr. Mario, who is hard to make different from original Mario?

I know you use and like Dr. Mario, Cloud. But wouldn't it be better to have him as a costume for Mario instead of being gone altogether. I mean, I'm hoping Roy becomes a Marth costume.

A waste of space. Make him a costme and put in a more original character.

But Mario with a Lab coat, he's still sort of different, with the Pills and such.
Well like you said they could either make the clones new costumes, change there move sets, or just get rid of them entirely.
I hope they change some of the clones move-sets and get rid of some of them. I'd be happy to see Pichu gone. >.>
Here is my list:
Ganondorf = Change Moveset
Pichu = Get rid of.
Y. Link = Change Moveset or Costume
Falco = Change Moveset
Dr. Mario = Costume
Y.Link and Falco couldn't be Costumes, they would totally change the other characters look.
