Looks like there's a little biplane there with platform-wings.. and in the background, some more platforms on top of vines... So my guess is the plane takes off and everyone has to be on the wings since the screen will pull away from the land below, flying toward those distant platforms... could be fun.
I hope Funky Kong is flying...
Just to backtrack a little (and hopefully avoiding anymore discussion over those clouds), I see the sequence as telling us that this:

Kirby is revived, Metaknight appears. One somehow causes the other. Seems like the most logical progression that we can garner from what little info we got from the pictures.
It's a possibility that the other villains are seen in the clouds, but I don't want to get into that except for the fact that all the trophies come falling from the sky. Whether it is because the "master hand" or person playing with them throws them into the ring, or they are seen as manifesting from the clouds/sky that's still open to interpretation.
(side note: just realized some similarities between Smash and "Indian in the Cupboard".. made me laugh.)

It'll possibly be a grab attack, or Sakurai has done a convenient screen cap of Yoshi in mid-air just above DK so it looks like he's on his back.

I always saw Yoshis as being asexual, considering how there are no gender specifications one way or the other. They may even be a species that would practice parthenogenesis. Anyhow, Nintendo probably won't give an explanation one way or the other.
Anyway, it looks to me like it is Yoshi's grab move and he's biting DK with his dinosaur teeth. Y'know like some kind of lizard might do...?

probably not...in the ice climber stage you didnt need to climb the sides to get up. you just need to double jump or watever
so thats probably what your gonna need to do to go from floor to floor rather than climbing the stairs which would take forever and everyone would die cause the stage is moving
