The rumors were true. Microsoft just made it official: Halo 3 will be released on September 25. And Europe will see it one day later, on September 26.
This puts Halo 3's release about a month before Grand Theft Auto IV and several of the year's other big game releases.

i'll be sitting at home playing Metroid Prime 3. or screwing around on my new laptop. most likely Metroid though. i guess maybe even SSBM if it's out by then or resistance if i can magically pull off $4,000 instead of the $3,000 i'm expecting.
i also like how poeple are bashing the beta's graphics saying they're not comparable to gears of war. imo gears' graphic style itself made the game look like crap. it seems way too much like it's all just grayscale other than the blood. H3 looks awesome, although even bias aside metroid prime 3 looks a whole lot better from the 360x180 videos i've downloaded from IGN on both games. i really like the style of H3, and i think it's gonna be a great game (MP3 will still rape it though XD), it's just too bad i'll never get to play it (unless 360 goes wi-fi and removes the subscription b4 we finish the bathroom, otherwise it's just the subscription part).

About time, I'm sure gamespot wants to sell more pre-orders. Wasn't the pre-order for H3 around 3 Mil before the announcement?
Took me a while to read this but i am glad about it coming out on Sep. 25th. Atleast Microsoft lets people know when it is coming out.
News to me, I thought it was going to be later for some reason, like Oct-Nov. Is GTAIV concrete in October?
