Game Informer magazine's "Loose Talk" rumor column states this month that developer Starbreeze Studios is developing a remake of its 2004 released Xbox-PC first person action game Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. According to the article the game will get a graphical boost thanks to the next-gen console hardware and will also get an additional chapter to the game's story. The article did not mention a release date.

That would be so cool, the first one was really good. It would be great to have an expanded version of the game.

I saw that article too. If they do it well it would be a worth-while purchase, if not only for the additional content.

I had the it for the Xbox and for the most part I really liked it. Giving it a "touch up" and a couple tweaks could make for something pretty nice.
