UK consumers appear to have been convinced of the PlayStation 3’s potential following Sony’s Gamers Day in San Diego last week. The console topped the Amazon UK best seller list directly following the event and still does.
The PS3 is currently the most highly sought after console, ranking fourth in the overall video games software and hardware listings on Amazon.co.uk. Hardware-wise, the black DS Lite follows in sixth place in the overall rankings, closely trailed by the Wii in seventh, the white DS Lite in ninth and the Xbox 360 in tenth spot. The pink DS Lite also ranks eighteenth in the overall video game listings.
During its Gamers Day, Sony unveiled a robust line-up of titles scheduled for release during the current fiscal year on its PlayStation platforms including PS3 exclusives such as LittleBigPlanet and SOCOM: Confrontation.
