PSone, PS2, and the Xbox 360 in all of their first 3 months.

Sony isn't sweating poor sales one bit. They are planning to mop the floor with Ninty and Microsoft come 2008-2009, even 2010 when those companies are in the middle of designing their next next generation consoles, and the PS3 will be totally up to date with their hardware and whatnot.

I dunno if that's gonna happen, but its what Sony is banking on, according to GI.

Aaaaand... I think the Wii will have no longevity problems.

The real problem will be... what next? Is it logical progression to simply make a better Wii, graphics-wise, control-wise, concentrating on ergonomics and pretty pictures, or to go waaaaay outta the box again?

I think Nintendo is just about too go over the edge of what a system can do =D. They pushed the limits with the Wii which i would have never thought of. The all time thought of the next generation console for me was a virtuality Zelda . And Wii pretty much pulled that off because your actually being link using the sword pulling the bow back and all. So Nintendo is about too the limit of what they can do without holograms *Snickers* The only way they can kick it up a notch is make another Wii with better graphics and better gaming capability and a wider memory and other things, But i cant see how you would improve much on the Wii or with any other system... They've did the most coolest things you can do with a gaming system that everyones wanted for generations, *Touch sensitive game play like moving your finger on the screen too interact, Then they pretty much came as close too virtual reality as you can without having too wear a full body cast, So i don't see how your going too improve and/or make a better gaming system without just improving the graphics and memory. And thats what i have too say, This is Zsakul2 and im out!

That's because the Ps3 sucks. Ya I probably sound like a 360 fanboy, but I love Sony consoles as well as Microsoft and Nintendo. Ps3 is just a multipurpose system. Hell Ive got that with my computer. They weren't smart using blue ray because if it flops they will just have to make a new system with either hd dvd or just a dvd drive. That's why xbox is smart in putting the hd dvd player separate. The online feature sucks on the ps3, well because not all free stuff are excellent. Really all it is used for is a cheaper high def movie player and the occasional gaming. Nothing special about it, it isn't going to have all that many exclusives because most programmers are making games for all systems so they can make more money. There's my two cents.
