This year's registration is already at a record level.
May 22, 2007 - With three months to go before the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention (GC), almost 40 percent more floor space has already been booked by exhibitors. The influx comes largely from international exhibitors from outside of Germany.

"The GC continues its success story again in 2007," said Peggy Schönbeck, the GC project director. "The current registration figures for the Business Center prove that Leipzig is the industry's most important fixture, including for international exhibitors."

The increased presence isn't entirely from new exhibitors. Some companies with a long history of showcasing at the convention will have an even bigger occupancy this year.

"We expect crowds of national and international trade visitors at the GC 2007," says Bernd Reinartz, PR manager at Activision Deutschland. "To be prepared for that, we are expanding our presentation at this year's fair."

Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Take 2, Konami, Eidos, Sega, Vivendi, and Disney have all signed on as exhibitors at this year's show.

it was last year's Leizig that Mario Strikers Charged and Battalion Wars 2 was revealed. i wonder wha we'll see this year. more smash bros. info? possibly.

I'm hoping for some sweet BWii news! Unless of course its already here! This could be a good chance for Nintendo to showcase some more wii games!
Maybe, if Brawl comes out before August, we may not see any new info. However, I believe this game will come out around September, so we may as well see something big on Brawl.
Leipzig was a letdown last year. So I'm not hyping myself up for a big Nintendo session this year either.

at the earliest brawl will release early Q4. meaning that its very possible we'll see Brawl on showcase.

I'm hoping for some great Wii news also. Wouldn't mind seeing a little more of Mario Galaxy
they didnt show it last year, so i hope to see it this year, along with all the other games like Project HAMMER, Disaster, and No More Heros.
I really wanna see project hammer!
That was a sweet game at E3 and i would love to see some more of it!
doesnt look too interesting, more like a hack and slash through a series of different level.
They could be adding more depth to it.

Since Nintendo released the titles for summer, I doubt that.

theres only so much depth you can add before it becomes repetitive.

Hopefully they can find a way not to make it repetivtive.
maybe, but i'll rent it. i really wanna know more info on No More Heroes.
I think they'll use this show for smaller games, like Project HAMMER, Disaster: Day of Crisis, No More Heroes, BWii... ect.

They'll use their big guns at bigger expos.
E3 07 which is less then 2 months away.
I think Brawl will be in Q4, I have no idea for any of the other games.
agreed. i just hope its early Q4.
Give us Mario kart! Or a new fox game Big Grin
dont forget Pikmin. and F-Zero.
F-Zero is one game I really want to see.
