i want there to be trophies, but i also want badges for really hard accomplishments
I had that idea before, and I still think that I'd see it. But not just badges.

Yea, having badges reminds me too much of pokemon.
Smash badges wouldn't be that bad..
Trophies - For the "Look!" effect.
Badges - For the "look what I did!" effect
Trophies ≠ Badges

Well, I should state, when I made the suggestion about badges, I made it sound like it could be more of a card than a 'badge' like in Pokémon (which, despite how you make it sound, is not even CLOSE to the suggestion made).
smash badges is what i ment (like cloud said)
the badges would be for the "u unlocked ______", "u played 5000 vs matches", "u beat classic mode on very hard with no continues", etc.
the trophies would be for the other stuff.
its pretty much the same thing. they had the same thing in melee.
but instead of just a screen where they say "good job, u did ......", then u would have a badge that says it and u could show them online possibly (?)

i get but what your saying but maybe badges arent the answer. more like a plaque
maybe there will be some kind of profile that u can make when going into online mode and the other person can check ur stats along with how many trophies uve collected
making profiles is something they should have seeing that it'll be in Mario Strikers Charged.
it all appeals to me. those r two of the games im looking foward to and two of the games im going to get
they both should be good.
but like i was saying plaques woulb work better than badges
ur probably right about that brawler. plaques would be better.
@ wii for me: i was thinking about that too. with a profile, u could show all the plaques / badges that u have to show how much u've played the game and how good u are
