I don't believe some kid killed it with a pistol. I've shot some boars that are normal size and they barely flinch when a hollow point leaves a grapefruit size hole in their head.

an 11 year old? and a pig THAT big? gaaah. its too big to have simply been killed by a pistol...meh.

50 shots from a super powered pistol. Or maybe they mistook the weapon of mass destruction the kid really used as a pistol.

I wasn't allowed to wield firearms when I was 11 -- heck, I'm STILL not (don't want to anyway. )-- so I'm not sure.. But my friend did, for hunting (it was some kind of rifle, i think, and he always went with his dad.)....

He was also there with about 4 other men with rifles aimed at it also. And it took 8 shots to kil the thing also.
