Okay, this is what happens with Mario Strikers.
When you boot up the game and go to the Main Menu, it will show a giant football with icons orbiting it. Each one does something.... duh!
The globe symbol, when highlighted will say "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection".
Click this, and it will show all your Miis. Click the Mii you want. STOP: There are no profiles on WFC, you use your Mii and he stores all info for you.
When you click your Mii, then click "Use This Mii". It will then show a connection screen first saying "Connecting to WFC", then "Logging In", then "Gathering Statistics", which sometimes takes a while
Kickass music then comes on and it shows a screen, the Home Screen. On this it will show two pictures at the top, your Mii and statistics (Wins, Losses, Points etc.), and the "Striker Of The Day" with the most points.
Below it are four buttons
Friendly----------------Ranked
Friend Roster-----------Leaderboard
Ranked are random matches.
Friendly are against friend code friends
You CAN have guests.
You get 10 points for a win, and a point for each goal you score, with a maximum of ten points for goals, so the most you can get in a match is 20 points. Fair, but annoying if you once won a match 42 - 0 like me. LOL
There is NO lag as long as you play with someone with a 4* rating.
If you turn off your Wii during online, unlike other online games, your opponent DOES NOT win. So if you're losing, you can turn your Wii off and give your opponent no points, so this is a bug that HAS GOT to be fixed.
