I guess its true when Nintendo said that Wii isn't just for gamers! It's nice to know that people are now looking to gaming to recover from some pretty bad conditions... Let's hope they don't try something like F-Zero for photo-epileptics

Thanks to Dr. Janet Coyle, a hospitalist at Riley Hospital's Tom C. Maynor Center, the Nintendo Wii has been incorporated into the center's rehabilitation program for patients who have suffered strokes.
“Dr. Coyle got one (Wii) for Christmas and after playing on it for awhile, she realized that it would be wonderful for our stroke patients,” said Ben Rucks, director of rehabilitation services at Riley.
Since its introduction late last year, the Wii has been cited as useful in losing weight and has also been used to treat children who suffer from the paralyzing hemiplegic cerebral palsy.

Nice job. Very interesting
Good find.
This is very interesting.
I saw a story like this before, and I think it's awesome that Nintendo are able to help people with their systems.
Thats good for Nintendo..very good.

The Rooster's been portal'd!
oh and thanx for the editing...I'll do it better next time
I saw someone buying a Wii today and they were trying out Wii Sports baseball while they waited. They couldn't even come close to hitting the ball and they looked really retarded (no, I have nothing against anyone that is disabled or otherwise). Then I realized that they were mentally disabled and felt so bad for my earlier thoughts. What I noticed was how happy playing made this guy feel. He was smiling and laughing and didn't care that he never hit the ball. He was having a blast! Makes you realize what games are for to begin with and that's entertainment. Games are supposed to be fun and I once again have to take my hat off to Nintendo for the great job the Wii is doing in bringing fun back to games for everyone.
I think this is very cool. No longer are video games those useless things your mom use to yell at you about
