Mario is offically the best selling franchise EVER
This came as no real suprise..But hey i thought i would share this with you guys.

Yea, it's been that way for a while now it's only competitor is another Nintendo franchise, pokemon.
Mario has been in the game, for so long.. but as of that.. GO FINAL FANTASY! xD

Naw, Final Fantasy is just better IMO ... and by the sale charts, many other people think so too, and LMX I put IMO, So don't scold me. xD

theres been like 12 final fantasy games. u have to give props to the other games cause their keeping up.
fun fact: in super mario rpg (super nintendo) there is a hard optional boss u can play created by the final fantasy people, and so was the music.

It's quite close. D/P have yet to release in Europe & Australia, plus with PBR releasing here it's bound to tighten up. But eventually the Mario Sports games will start coming out and it will be further out again.

Of course The Sims deserves to be up there. It was a ground breaking game and many expansions are made and people still buy them.

Well Madden has ben the only really decent football game, plus EA has bought the NFL for their use only, so that's also a factor.

Smash Bros. could have been up there but the series is fairly with only two games out
