I had Uxie down to minimum HP, it was asleep and still busting out of Dusk Balls.
With Azelf I got lucky and caught in an Ultra Ball on my 2nd throw, that rocked lol.
I used my Master Ball on Azelf. Probably shouldn't have, though.... (Heatran)
Are using a pokemon with a trap ability or move to prevent it from running away.
Uxie and Azelf don't run away. Mesprit is the only one that does. He's just hyaving trouble because he's wasting Pokeballs on Uxie because it won't get caught.
In fact, it took me three resets to catch Uxie. It has a very low catch rate, so you just have to be patient. I'd suggest loading up on Dusk and Timer balls, so if it's at night, I'd use the dusk balls. If you use a bunch of Pokemon that just chip a little away at Uxies HP, stock up on Timer balls, since they become more effective the longer the battle goes on.
i paralyzed them to catch them. i caught Uxie with a Ultra Ball, wasnt to hard. and Azelf with a Great Ball. (didnt have enough money to load up on Ultra Balls after Uxie.)

More like Mesprit and that Moon Pokemon that runs away from you. lucky for me i have three Master Balls that i saved from my LG game. 
I has two masterballs to spare anyway : D
How did you get 3 master balls in LG Brawler?
I only have the one Master Ball. And once I buy FR or LG I'll go through the game once to get Mewtwo but a second time I'll save the Master Ball. And the same will happen in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

i went trough my LG game like 3 times and saved the master balls by giving pokemon the ball and trading.
