No, it was a glitch. Hence why it was removed from the other games.

ya it made me sad i think my best memory of that glitch was when i had to face Profesor oak. that was amazing (yes i can offically say that i have beat professor oak in a battle)
The glitch for Shaymin in DP was removed, so only Japan still has it.

It was involved walking a certain amount of steps in the flower town, there was one for Darkri too in the early Japanese versions. It began at the pokemon league and you had to use your explorer kit to get to Flower Paradise

yes, but the glitches only work in the jap. games released early on.
