Okay off topic, but i need some help on what to name my character(MALE) and starter(PIPLUP) for POKeMON D/P. Tell me if i should make this a thread and i will, as in a "POKeMON NICKNAME" thread. I was thinking for my character: "CORIN" and my PIPLUP: "FROSTBITE"...They both probably need some help, but that's why i came to you guys...Shy
Why not give it your name.. If you and goning to change piplup, I would waint into it evolves into Empoleon. Then change it's name Enperuto, but that's just meBig Grin
How much will this game cost?

Turtwig looks to weak, and its most evolved form whatever its called looks weak, thats why the water one looks HALF decent.

you obviously need to check out Torterra stats

Wenis Wrote:
agreed with Cloud,

I think all the grass starters in every game were weak, bulbasaur was the only semi-descent one though. And a firemonkey just looks weird...

you just dont know to use them correctly, Sceptile was good too.

fire monkeys are awesome

thnks for the heads up!

oh SNAP
FOUND A PIKACHU IN THE VIRIDIAN FOREST!!!

Yea, half way through Firered I found that outSad

blaziken is the best fire starter, for grass its a tie between venasaur and septile, and for graa its a tie between blastoise and empoleon.

Does graa = water?

But Blaziken can be beaten by Charizard's flying abilities, but it can learn rock tomb. though.

So can Sceptile, which is why I thought it to him.

Blastoise > Empoleon

Its basically a COOL looking turtle VS a Weird looking Penguin.

Blastoise has better defense...possibly, since he is a turtle

empoleon would naturally have better defenses cause its part steel.

i was looking foward to the games being a special color like all the rest has been. a cool tradition has just died. Sad

Yes but Blastoise can learn ground moves and ground is super effective against steel and you know what they say, the best defense is a good offense.

just because one pokemon can beat another doesnt necessarily mean its better. with empoleon you can knock out a lot more pokemon because it has an extended movepool larger than blastoise's

I am crushed tooSad It would have been some type of blue and pink if they were colored.

Exactly

it may not be super effective but empoleon can crush blastoise with one or two drill pecks.

Blastoise is still from the first games, where the moves suck.

Even if It can get moves from this gen. Blastoise > Empoleon

hey im gonna hax a blastoise into my diamond version via ACTION REPLAY
Ya. then you'll make some bling.Cool

Anyway this was supposed to be an "Official Diamond and Pearl thread" what happened? I need more info.
