have you noticed how incredibly "unrandom" the shuffle songs feature is...
why is that?
It basically just puts the numbers in a random order. The whole album, playlist, etc is put in a random order all at once. It may seem a bit unrandom but it's still better than waiting the 3 to 5 seconds the older players used to take to pick the next song after each song. I do know what you mean though and I definitely heart my iPod big time. Waited since it first came out to get it and I just got it a couple months ago.

I just put iPod Linux on my 5.5G today... it's.... not as stable as the 3G. I'll have a proper mess next week

It's a soft mod and completely reversable

Yah, to reverse it all you do is run the firmware restore program from within itunes and I'll be like you just bought it (except the scratches won't disappear)
I do use different iPOD skins as I get bored easily but I like the current one I'm using. I was scared at first but D4rk's right and it's an easy fix if something goes wrong.
My Mp3 and Computer does that too, its on random, and if I click a song on a title/letter/album they will always do another song off the album. Its quiet funny.
