The number of "Good" pokemon has stopped after the 2nd gen.
they were the worst. it offered the least pokemon of good useable pokemon
Crystal was great, it had the best Pokemon, all the Pokemon were so new, and weren't just babies and upper evolutions of other Pokemon, And all the new features in Crystal were awesome, and then you can go back to the old Gym Battles, and face Ash? That game was perfect. I loved it.
Ruby/Diamond offer the worst selection of Pokemon. Hence why my team are all other gens pretty much.
Charizard and Typhlosion are great, infernape and blaziken.. Clones? They are the same damn type. Thats gay. very gay.
Then we get to choose a Penguin.
When we can get A Gator which would Mass Murder a Penguin, then a turtle.. Well Squirtle is awesome anyway.
Turtwig.. Chikorita.. I don't care for both. Bulbasaur ftw. Treeko Ftw.
what you fail to see is the pokemon from the newest gen, can easily trump pokemon in the old gens. they're mainly created to balance them out, thus maker them weaker from gen to gen.
