Yeah I have a lot of friends excited about that one, and I'll probably try it, but in the past five years I havent tired or let go of my Diablo II obsession, so I dont know that theres a game out there that could de-throne it for me. I have friends abandoning D2 for Tabula Rasa, too.
I stick away from MMORPGs.
I've discovered the adreniline rush of online FPSs.
Its like a never ending nerve spasm.
But thats not the reason.. I still find a form of grinding in it... Leveling up, getting upgrades/unlocks. Getting badges/Promotions... Its awesome.
I never played D2 online, back then my dad was weary of anything to do with games and internet, somethign about hackers and viruses. He has learnt from then, but I shall never do it, I don't want to risk it.

I heard Bnet was allowing you to play your old expired characters on Halloween. But I didnt remember any passwords.
Check out Hellgate: London, the game they're working on for a while, can't remember when it releases, but it is the closest thing you'll get to Diablo 3.
Actually Check out Titan Quest, That's the closest thing to blah blah blah.
It even uses the D2 engine or atleast one very very close.
Gah.. I played that game. Horrible.
Its loot system was out of wack. You where mor elikely to get a rare item from the lowest level creeps then from a boss.
I could one shot anything at level 5...
Blizzard's my fave game maker, they get me addicted!
