Is anyone still playing Diablo 2? I reinstalled it this evening, and I'm having a kick ass good time with it. Personally I hated Diablo 1, but for some reason, 2 just seems to be a good fit with me. I play as a necromancer.

Diablo 3 will never come. The Diablo team quit Blizzard and made their own company.
Check out Hellgate: London, the game they're working on for a while, can't remember when it releases, but it is the closest thing you'll get to Diablo 3.

I never played D2 over the interent, my dad was pretty strick about that then, and my mom didn't really like the idea of me playing an "M" game anyway :p

Probably, I was watching a show on TV the other day and they have stadiums to watch people play, I was like OMG that's so flippin' boring.
I cannot believe all the issues with Diablo2 and it's expansion pack. I installed it on two different computers, 1 an XP Pro machine and 1 Vista Home Premium. On both systems, the diablo 2 play disc would get half way through the music part and just stop. I went through this 4 or 5 times, and then finally...the expansion magically installed without even needing the other play disc at all....Quite odd...I don't remember this happening when I first got the game, back in the day.
It is due to the a damaged disk as I had the same issue (I think the play disk is sensitive to scratches)
so I borrowed a friend's disk and it worked fine.
I didn't have a disc sratch issue, actually I copied the disc and I still had the same problem. Now that I installed the most recent update, there are no issues at all.

The first Diablo broke my hand (PSX) but was just as fun as II.
