If you go into the game thinking "This guy is soo much better than me.." or "There's no way I'm going to win" you WILL eventually lose.
On the other hand, when you're confident, you have as good a chance as winning as he does.
Psychology is probably one of the more ignored things in competition, but nobody should ever ignore it. It's important.
