Australian Disappointment
At a press conference yesterday, Nintendo Australia stated that there is no definite date for Nintendo's next big titles on the Nintendo Wii this year here in Australia. These titles include Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Super Mario Galaxy
These titles are expected to be released in the US at the end of the year, meaning Australia may miss out on a simultaneous release during the peak holiday season. Does no news mean bad news?
Nintendo Australia did state they will definitely release Super Paper Mario this year...big whoop...

Update: European Disappointment
European Release dates for Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass up in the air.
Will we see Mario on the Wii this year? Following news that Nintendo of America will release four of its most anticipated titles in 2007, the European wing has been unable to offer any details regarding the games' release dates across Europe.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is scheduled to launch in the US on August 20, with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime also confirming that Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will find their way to US stores before the year is out.
When asked for European release dates, a Nintendo UK rep said that no dates for these titles have been announced.
Given Nintendo's track record for heavily delayed European release dates, PAL gamers can be justifiably pessimistic about the big four making it to their local store this year.

This is a big shame, and I'm sure that the European and Aussie members of WiiLoaded are going to be immensely disappointed by this.

Sucks.
Oz and EU usually go hand in hand
Nintendo officially suck ass.
IM sorry you guys thats not cool to bad the wii isnt like the ds T.T
Pity I rushed out to buy a Wii. Oh well, lets just hope that this goes for the games worldwide.
All they said was there was no concrete dates and that isn't exactly a lie. Only Metroid 3 has a date, both Galaxy and Brawl are still silent. So therefore they could have been saying that for that reason.
Or maybe they are holding out til E3 where Nintendo will announce each release date?
Anyway, if this is the case. Its a pity that Nintendo can't be efficient enough to release games in all regions close together. Epic phail.
Sucks.

you may be right

O wow, that's some disapointing news for EU & AU. Maybe they are just unsure right now and will say something at E3 like lmx said.

Ditto.
It's very disappointing news for EU & AU...
Here's to hoping that they'll reveal something good at E for All!
well at least EU got mario strikers. and theres still hope, they could go for the world wide release for Brawl, cause its a huge title.
AU got strikers too. I'm not to sure about a worldwide release because we know it's suppose to come this year here, but it's still up in the air there.
well on the Smash Bros. Dojo website, it says it's planned for 2007, so some hope lies there. i hope for a simultaneous release as well.
This sucks, now I can't play against LMX for a while ;_:
I lmfao'd when I saw this.

2007 refers to NA and not EU & AU though.
These games will probably come out around November.
This does suck, now I can't get my a$$ kicked my Lemon, but theres always Cloud

.
T.T
I wanted to play LMX.
This sucks for you EUs and AUs!

imteresting the EU pages dont have the same thing. "planned for 2007"
the title of this article is very misleading. All they are saying is that there is no definite release date, meaning they've yet to receive word from Japan.
Sorry to disappoint those from Australia, but you guys aren't that big of a market compared to America and Japan. But Europe? They're the third biggest market for video games.
Hopefully Nintendo will clear this up and officially confirm release windows for Brawl, Galaxy and Metroid.
Honestly I think Brawl will be released worldwide when it comes out. have hope.
