Has anybody bought this product yet? I've found that my rechargeable batteries seems to be loosing power faster and faster, so I'm considering this jem. Kotaku says they're great, but I'd like some firsthand information about how well they work.

i am waiting till i am completely sick of buying batteries since i have 4 wimotes (and would have to buy 2 stations) and the 4 wiimote gloves i have arent compatible with the charger packs (wont fit over them, i tried)
I am glad you asked! Yes I bought one about a month ago now. It works great and has two ports to charge a max of 2 at once. I highly recommend it if batteries are a problem for you.

I have quite a few of those Wii-mote gloves, and I've just grown to hate them. I really thought I'd be saving the Wii-mote from getting dirty and such, but instead I got a royal pain in the butt with those things. I have several unopened gloves that someone gave me for Christmas, because I've grown to dislike them that much.
Just remember drew, it doesn't take too many packs of batteries to equal what this charge station would cost. If by chance, someone else is buying the batteries for you, make sure you let them know how much cash they'd be saving in the long run.
true, i am buying the batteries and it has added up...but i like the gloves only in as much as they keep my 'motes clean...and prevents slippage,

That brings me to another great thing about the charging station. It has its own custom back battery covers that have a grip on them. I never worry about it slipping anymore.
