Except one thing Dialga has better stats. and if you get Draco meteor strike off or the Time attack you can take out palkia its kinda iffy but my vote is def Dialga and whats up with the vote it says i voted for dialga but it says zero people voted dialga
Dialga has higher HP and Defense.
Palkia has higer Speed and Sp. Defense.
Their Attack and Sp. Attack are the same.
Palkia has a more vasy moveset, of which include moves that can trump Dialga, plus since it moves first it has even more advantage.
Palkia has a better moveset, but it really doesn't matter. Teach one of them an Ice Attack and the other one is raped.
Actually an Ice attack won't work on Palkia because it's part water. And being Water/Dragon it's only weaknesses are Dragon attacks, like Kingdra.

thats not true, if you look some of the older legendaires have better base stats Arceus, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquazza (in that order) are better then dialga and palkia
Rayquaza in battle of course can take both of them down and Arceus maybe, if it was the right type. Ho-oh could not take out Palkia, nor Lugia for that matter. Metwo might could possibly.y
wow ur good at scewing to make 3rd gen better. Arceus could easily take out Dialga or Palkia, Rayquazza is not a given it too has a weakness to dragon, Mewtwo is the second best pokemon in the game and could easily take out D&P and Lugia is faster and has better def and sp def and pretty good atk and sp atk and could easily best Palkia. (and Rayquazza is on the bottom of list BECAUSE HIS STATS SUCK!!!

It would all boil down to who is the faster dragon pokemon and who has the stronger dragon attacks. Palkia his high sp def and speed and it's only weaknesses are dragon attacks so any other attack would be normal damage. It would take out Ho-oH in on shot and use an ice beam on or thunder Lugia and it's done for. Mewtwo would have chance against dialga because it's part steel, but against Palkia, no.
how can u say that? mewtwo is faster and better sp atk and palkia and has better move sets w/e i guess u can have ur own opinion
Yes my opinion, but Serebii shows that Mewtwo has much lower base defenses which means Palkia can easily take it out. And Mewtwo's Sp. Att isn't that much higher than Palkia's.

I agree but I never really liked how most of the 2nd gen Pokemon were pre evolve forms of already existing ones.

Neither, both ideas sucked ass.
The pre-evos are nice because you get to see a baby form of the pokemon. For the most part they are weak though. Budew is one that is decent.I have to go with the new evos because Electrivire, Gallade, & Frolass are FTW.
