Japanese company Vis-a-Vis recently released a Wii gun attachment for the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. The unit, called Gun Hazard, works like a cradle, and the Nunchuck fits into the handle; the Wii Remote attaches into the top of the barrel.
This accessory was made to offer gamers a new method to play Resident Evil 4 for Wii (known as Biohazard 4 in Japan), but there is nothing barring it from playing other games as well. It is selling for 2,520 yen, and no announcement has been made about its release in other territories.

I think we seen something similar to this model at e3. Very simple. But looks nice

I think there has been a lot of companies doing gun periphials for Wii, but none of htem were that great because there is no games for it. If they got this for RE4 Wii, hopefully we'll get it too and it'll actually work.
Most of the third party ones I've seen do. Only the Nintendo one actually looks decent.
i think these accesories help with the shooting games though, i find during wiiplay my wrist is at a severe angle when shooting sometimmes and it isnt as comfortable as it could be
this thing might help that...
Well the shotting in Wii Play is simple,so any light gun would work for it. Other FPS games are more complex and that game would have to made specifically for a light gun for so it can work.
I think it looks pretty cool but an official Nintendo one will probably be the best.
drew likey simple
most of my fave FPS (not many) were the pc mouse point and click variety, so if its point and pull trigger i am down for that,
need a wireless nunchuk for movement though...hmmm, i dunno how that would work
before I pick up umbrella chronicles i want a gun, but I'm sure we'll see a lot more options as that time comes near. this reminds me of the of for the PS2 with the analog stick positioned where it is. I'd rather see a wireless nun chuck so that we could use that for movement instead of killing my thumb on this gun.
Aww sweet it would be ace to use that gun attachment for Resi Evil

I am gonna wait for a Official Nintendo gun...
And maybe there will be a game that comes with it...
