The stars that show up on the forums are based on your number of posts. At the moment:
0-10:newbie (or whatever)
10-50 (junior member)
50-250 (memer)
250-750 (senior member)
upwards of 750 (posting freak)
Note: may have changed titles, but stars are the same.
