Twilight Princess talked itself up and was uber hyped. But what we got was an attempt at another Ocarina that failed because it'd already been done and the game was FAR too easy.
Now if Metroid ends up like that, then I'll be very sad with Retro.
??? Twilight Princess was an excellent game. It was better in most ways than Ocarina, which itself was brilliant! I don't get you Lemon...

lemon, dont you tire of bashing twilight...the way you talk it wasnt as good as metal suit gundam or any other craptacular PS3 launch title...jeez, it still a great game even if it didnt live up to the hype in your opinion

I don't tire of bashing Twilight because its too easy to do. It should have just been put on the Cube, but then the Wii launch line up would have sucked ass. So in a way, I respect the choice Nintendo made. I just wish the game was more challenging and more original.
And as for the trend with Retro and Bungie, I'm not quite sure what you mean by that JM... Enlighten me.
Have you noticed that both Retro and Bungie felt that they were rushed on their 2nd installment for both of thier respectful series? Considerign that people see that MC and SA are like "rivals" I find is funny and interesting.
TP was epic. But easy. So i played it with just 4 hearts. that was interesting.
Ah, now I understand. And yes, that is amusing. Especially when I think back to all those times people thought Samus was a copy of MC. What a bunch of n00bs.
Needless to say, under a month til Metroid in America. First person who spoils it for me will die a slow, painful death.

Although, Metroid is the champion of single-player. And Halo is the champion of multi-player. So they are kind of on equal terms at the moment.

My main concern about MP3 is that it'll be short. Its past games have been lengthy, but the past is the past. I do want an awesome experience but, like your girlfriend, I don't want it lasting 5 minutes.

As for Metroid, I remember the first two Halo's were fun but damn were they short. Same with Gears of War. Let's hope MP3 doesn't fall under the same curse.

Well, Halo 1+2 and GeoW all had multi-player. MP3 on the other hand doesn't, so all the time spent on the game has been devoted to controls and single-player. I'm assuming they've made it lengthy.
Ah, all they're doing is single-player? Then this could be one of the best games of the year. o_o

Not much of a response, but I wouldn't expect anything more from them.
I will not show them love. Because I probably won't get the game til October. No love for them.
...how is TP not original......it runs off basically the same engin as OoT but otherwise, it has a new storyline that is much more complex, new weapons, new special moves, new character models (finally most every woman doesnt have a beard), many new features, etc. they tried to make it as good as OoT, not make another one.
