Yes a sequel to 1991's James Pond: Underwater Agent is hitting the Ds

Quote:
It appears that another, lesser known sea-dwelling character is being readied for a comeback. James Pond Codename Robocod, the sequel to 1991's James Pond: Underwater Agent, is listed for the Nintendo DS. Published by Electronic Arts, the Pond series spoofs -- wait for it -- James Bond with an endless array of puns like "A View to a Spill" and "Leak and Let Die." The DS version was submitted to the ESRB by Codemasters and it is unknown whether it is planned as a direct port of the original or an updated adventure.

Also Ecco The Dolphin will be seeing some virtual console action.

Ecco the Dolphin, is returning to the Virtual Console in Tides of Time, the sequel to the aquatic mammal's original SEGA Genesis adventure. Gameplay is very similar to the first game, but the addition of Metaspheres can transform Ecco into seagulls, sharks, and jellyfish. The story picks up right where the first's left off with Ecco still saving the Earth from the Vortex Queen. Tides of Time was developed by Novotrade, makers of the original Ecco.

And yes i posted this in the DS section because it seems to get neglected just a little. Big Grin

Sounds, interesting. For a minute I thought it was suppose to be Bond, and that you wrote Pond by mistake.
^Yeah i thought the same thing! lol

Hmmm never heard of this game before?
Lol im not that bad at spelling am I?

I also no nothing about this game...sounds kind of weird.
Ecco the dolphin...

Hasn't that been out on the VC for ages?

Or are you in the U.K? And has that not come out in the U.K?
James Pond lives on. I had the first two James Pond games for the Genesis about 15 years ago. By no means was it the most popular game for the Genesis, but it held its own and was a decent series for EA.
