I have a serious problem.

I was sitting at the computer with my shake flashlight (it was late at night) and when I got up to leave, I noticed that my monitor was oddly colored.

I tried putting shake flashlight close to the screen to see if that was it, and all the colors mess up and it looks like there are rainbows everywhere. It's hard for me to view things properly, now

In short, I f-ed up my monitor.
Is there a way of fixing it?

There should be a degauss button on the monitor. Press it.

Otherwise, you can use this trick by strapping a couple of magnets to a drill. I don't think this works for LCDs though, only CRTs.

The shake flashlight has a powerful magnet inside of it, which is causing your problems.
