I am getting a pretty good job this summer and will have enough money to buy an 360 Elite by end of July....
So, could you guys recommend me for some great games and hardware!
I already plan to get lost planet and Oblivion.....
Ohh, and also, my mom generally doesn't let me get M games unless there is a really dumb reason that the game is rated M (Like how oblivion was changed because people would mod the PC version)

i'd suggest getting guitar hero 2. if you plan on going online, rainbow 6: vegas is super fun to play. i think the game is rated M though. lots of cussing in singleplayer.
the best racing games out there, imo, are: burnout, PGR3, and forza 2. i listed them from most arcadey to sim.
oblivion will take a really long time to beat. i dont even think you'll have time to play anything else. i logged in close to a total of 200 hours with 2 separate characters. lost planet online is definitely fun. if i werent so addicted to R6V(and now forza 2), i'd probably be playing that.
regarding hardware, youre petty much set. if you ever happen to pick up more controllers, i'd suggest the battery recharge station. the elite comes with a charge and play, but it really doesnt do a good job of fully charging the controllers.

I played the demo and i thought it was fabulous....
And what kind of live options are there? Like what kind of packages and other things are there that would be necessary for it?
if you havent played COD2, then you will like COD3. online is pretty sweet. 24 players max, and no lag at all. the game modes are fun and hectic.

when you first sign up, you get 1 free month of XBL gold. i you want to continue using it, youre gonna have to either buy one of those subscription cards or pay with a credit card. subscription cards are the way to go though since they come with an extra month of gold.

I'd try Crackdown just because it's fun online. Lots. It's even fun offline.
No M games? That sucks, the 360s best titles are mostly "M". Anyway, I logged about 66 hours and beat everything in oblivion (all achievements/guilds) EXCELLENT GAME, EXCELLENT GRAPHICS, EXCELLENT GAMEPLAY. A Must get. Sucks that you can't get Gears, but oh well, the Online is amazing.
For racing, I'd suggest forza 2. Lost planet is, IMO, a really bad game, I played it and I didn't like it. I guess I don't have more to suggest, everything else i know is rated M...

Well, if you get Xbox Live, Rainbow Six Vegas and Battlefield 2 are good choices. Halo 1+2 are always good choices ^^. Shadowrun is good enough, as is Crackdown. I have to say though, the Halo games and Fable, although old(Xbox Original games), are still extremelly good. Hope this helps!

Second of all, i said that in the newbie area. No one has a problem yet

Hmm. no m games kinda cuts it down a lot. A lot of the really good games are M. But as everyone says Oblivion [T] is great, nice long game you can get into. I really like forza 2[E] fun to just drive around, and also to play friends or other people online. I like either NFS: Most wanted, or carbon[T], those are also two good fun racing games. I like COD 2[T] better than 3, but that is just my oppinion. GOW[M] is not overrated. It has great online features such as being able to play co op with someone, or just battling out on multiplayer. and Single play is always good fun. I like blitz the league[M], the only reason I think its M is just because some lyrics have cussing, and the injurries. Other than that it is the only football game I like to play. Amped 3[T] is good fun to just mess around on. Ninty nine nights[M], good hack and slash game. Saints row[M] a fun GTA themed game. Definely Guitar hero 2[T], it may be a little expencive, but it is really fun. I like Kameo[T] its a fun fantasy RPG.

She will allow some M games but she has to check the content on the back first and the watch me play it...
I can already see the fights coming....
follow my advice, get the two Halo games. Rated M because they have bright blue alien blood and the occasionally swear from the Marines(nothing to bad). Its a classic.

I got like 6 games but my dad needs to get some extention cords so that i can hook it up to live...

After finally playing it, I've got to agree. It was great but not that great. I'd still recommend you get it though for the multiplayer. The single player campaign is very short. Once I get a 360 I'll probably get it.
Virtua Tennis 3 is a pretty addictive game online.. I would say Dead Rising but.. Mature sadly
