Here I will explain to you all about Pokerus. To fully understand what pokerus is and how it works I will have to explain EVs. I know all of you have heard of these “EV” but don’t know what they are. EV stands for effort value. Each time u fight a pokemon the pokemon that gain exp. Gain EV points. One hard thing about EVs is that each pokemon gives a different amount of EV points in different stats. For example if you fight a Bidoof your pokemon will gain 1 EV point in HP, but if u battle a zubat u gane one speed EV. Each pokemon has a designated number that is listed on http://www.serebii.net under the D/P pokedex. Each pokemon can gain a total of 510 EV points and a max of 255 in one stat. Now pokerus doubles the amount of EV points you gain. So if we look at bidoof, instead of him/her giving you 1 HP EV point he/she will give you 2. this can also be made to work with other devices such as macho brace. Which also doubles the EVs gained. So if you have a pokemon with pokerus and a macho brace that pokemon will gain 4 HP EV points from bidoof instead of 1.

Hmm thanx for the info! But how do you get your Pokemans to get Pokerus?

actually the easist way is through trade try to find someone who has the pokérus eg) me and ask if they can give u an infected pokemon, or by battling wild pokemon(this takes time and luck) its very hard to find and mabye even harder then finding a shiny pokemon
