here is what the reqs (video cards) for BF2 are
DirectX 9.0c compatible Video card must be AGP or PCI express, have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater; ATI Radeon 8500; ATI Radeon 9500 or greater
So I dont knwo anything about graphics cards, but would an "ATI Radeon Express 1100" be good enough?

How well do you think it would run with all that stuff? The only thing it faild at was RAM...I have 1g, but 256 is shared for graphics. it passes minimum requirement though
And yeah I have BF2:MC on ps2 and its fun, but i've just been hearing that the PC version is so much better

Its basically BF 2 with more stuff.
And I'm pretty sure its good enough.
More Ram is a must. But most importantly is CPU. It should be in the reccomended area.

it'll run. BF:MC is nothing like BF2, but BF2 is most definitely the better game. BF2142 isnt as good. im not really a fan of realistic, futuristic weapons, so im probably biased in my opinion. its the same reason i cant get into the GR:AW series.

Doesn't 2142 cost $15 a month to play online?

no. bf2142 has no monthly fee. it does have some sort of spyware though.
The "spyware" is just built in ads in the game...
Like, when you're battling in a city, there will be billboards, and instead of just made up stuff they actually advertise things. Like pepsi, Nvidea, Ati, etc.
You don't notice cause its too fast paced to let you stop and look at them :p
It requires more out of your system though. =/

yep. it's a very popular game. people still play BF42 and BF: vietnam.
