Do u have to pay for Guild Wars ?
because i was thinking of buying it

Nah, Guildwars does not have subscription fees like WoW does. Its pretty fun but i dont play much anymore. Just so you know its much more enjoyable if you play with others rather than always using the NPCs. I would recommend joining an active clan right away so you have some reliable buddies to adventure with.

Yes its free, the expansions are all stand alone games, except the one that's coming out this winter, it'll require on other "expansion" to play.

Cant wait till Guild Wars 2 though :p

Guild Wars and free and I think its great! It's much better if you join a good guild though, so they can help with missions.

I have been wanting to try that game cause i heard that it was pretty good. I ended up buying elder scrolls oblivion though and i barely have time to play that but maybe one day.......

Its a good game, since you can play alot, or only hour or 2 a day. I plan to make a review for it (even though its older). Really good game.

I have played AO, SWG, and WOW(trial), and was wondering how guild wars would compare to those.

If you ever need a buddy for missions, i am on though not as much as i used to be. Name in game is Shiro Musashi...

BTW, favorite of the 3 so far is Factions... though nightfall has it's moments too.

As far as the storyline goes i like the first one, but i play factions the most because it has more options for Player vs Player games.

I just need to beat Nightfall now. I prefer Prophecies' starting area (pre-searing) to the other start areas. So colourful and nice...

Make sure you get the first game, because if my memory serves me correctly, nightfall is an expansion pack, just make sure that your getting the normal game and not the expansion before you buy, i could be completely wrong though too :/

All three games stand alone, meaning you will play no matter which one you pick. though Prophecies has the best newb area and you won't be able do travel to the continents of the games you don't own. (nightfall to factions... etc). i have all 3 so i can help on any continent

I see, i wasn't sure how it worked for sure. So each game has its own continent?

Prophecies=Best PvE
Factions=Sin and Rit characters (I'm a sin most of the time), great PvP
Nightfall=Dervish and Paragon (Dervish good character), Custom Heroes

your pick which one you want... I love Factions though Nightfall has it's moments too
