Okay guys, I'm really tied up in knots here about which to get.
I could get a
DS Lite (and a game or two)
OR
An 88-key (WEIGHTED keys.

) digital piano.
As some of you know, I can play some video game stuff on the piano... In fact, I LOVE playing them. It's really, really fun.

I can't stop playing the piano... Play like three or four hours a day. >_<
Then there's the DS.
I'm always hearing how great it is, how awesome the games are, how the online is pretty good... And I really want it badly.
Trouble is, I have $300. (piano is $400, still saving)
I have
NO CLUE which to choose.
I would really appreciate your opinions!
(Don't choose DS Lite just because this is a game forum.

I want your true and honest opinion.)
DS
A whole Game > just the music from a game
no brainer- ds lite, yer parents will buy you the piano eventually, i'll bet
DS Lite, do it man. Best hanheld EVER.
DS + R4DS + 1GB Mini SD card = all the DS games you want.
with that said, get the keyboard. learn to play it well and you'll be able to serenade teh wommenz to buttery submission. serenade, then marinate.

Looks like DS is the answer, so far. >.>

You have to be one of my favorite members.
haha greaser lee godammit we love you
Eeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
eerrrrrr..
er.rrrrrr...
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Honestly, I'd saaayyy... keyboard. I play the piano as well and I love playing.

I have a 72-key (I think) and I love practicing, composing, and playing with the sounds. As a matter of fact, I decided to major in music just because of my keyboard (and playing). I don't need a weighted keyboard because there's a grand at my church and whenever I wanna swoo the ladies I play there. I really just use my keyboard to practice which keys to press and to play with sounds, but if you don't have a local grand then buy the keyboard. I have the luxury of having a ds and a keyboard, so I can feel for you man.
My opinion might change once I buy my micro sd card today so you might want to wait a while. =p
If I was old enough to have a job, then I wouldn't have this problem. >_<
(I'm paid in allowance. When I take the clean dishes out of the dishwasher, I get $1. When I take out the garbage, I get $1. When I vacuum a room, I get $1. -_-)
You should find a loop hole. Vacuum the same room 300 times and ask for your money. <_<
dude come on u no that on a GAME forum ur gunna get people to vote for DSL im personally think an electronic piano is awesome but come on try to make a deal with ur mom come on use ur evil powers
10 to 0 in favor of the DSL so far. DSL is so much more fun right now, but knowing how to play a piano would really get you the women. I say take the $300 and get a cheap piano to play around with, and the DSL.
i love how the only reason he should get the keyboard is to get the women d:
but its up to you. talk to your parents, see if you can't work out a deal with them. you'd pay for the DSL and a game or so, and see if you can't get them to agree to something like...for every dollar you make in allowances, they match it, on the stipulation that it can only be used for the keyboard. which means every time you get an allowance, you can't take it for yourself, but you put it in a jar or whatnot...and when you have $200 saved up, they pay the other $200, and there ya go. better to save half the price of the keyboard than half the price of the DSL
Pssh.
I'd say piano. Just because it actuall gets you somewhere in life.
DSL is just a time waster. A good one at that.
And repeating what Greaser Lee.
Admin edit - We'll have no piracy talk on these forums >:0
So if you plan on getting a DSL, save up an extra 100$ for the R4/M3 and Micro SD.
So it'll equal in price with the piano :p
If you get good enough with the keyboard you can play it on busy streets and get some tips. I vote piano.

I could show you how good I am... But I can't figure out how the camera works and my mom is always "too busy" to tape me for like 2 (or 2 and a half) minutes while I play.
I should have expected what the majority would answer, from a game forum, though. d:
Surely if you've got a talent your parents would be willing to put some money into it themselves?
