- First level - You are attacked on a spaceship while meeting with the ship’s captain…action packed
- Play feels motion controls work better than dual joystick
- Super sensitive pointer in “advanced” mode
- Beam stacking ala Super Metroid
- Visor switch: Hold minus and flick Wiimote in certain directions
- Boss fight with Ridley at the end of the first level. Excellent difficulty curve by the time you reach the boss.
- Back tracking in MP3:C makes more sense than in previous Primes
- Extra development time was to give the game more polish. Nintendo wanted “Twilight Princess” levels of polish. Game is focused on Metroid fans and hardcore gamers, but still accessible to newcomers due to controls.
- Second level - floating city focused on exploration
- Larger environments, bloom lighting, better textures than Prime 2
- Corruption Mode not available in demo
- Play says it could be the biggest revolution in FPS gaming since Halo.
Well it's happened, and fanboys are shedding sweet tears of joy all over the English speaking world. We finally have official details regarding Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and some of us couldn't be happier.

The biggest revolution in FPS gaming since Halo. Well we would certainly expect so after the huge delays of this game. We are all hoping deep down inside that this game will be the start of Wii's "hardcore" First-Person Shooter family.
Saying that Play feels motion controls work better than dual joystick is definitely what all of us wanted to hear. So many opinions on this game are based on the fact that it will have excellent controls. With Reggie Fils-Aime telling us that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was held back so long so that it would be "perfect", fanboys are already drooling at the possibilities.
I am really looking forward to Prime 3. It would bitterly disappoint me if there was no Wi-Fi Connection support for such an obvious title. We at least hope for some form of customisation via WiiConnect24, and I'll pray that this will be the game to kick-start Nintendo's favourite always-on, yet still potentially unlocked wireless update service.
