yeah in my monthly gamesearch magazine there was this interesting article that said that the wii was capable of to output 480 megahertz of graphics and it can also output 720p resolution this source came from a nintendo worker he said that nintendo is waiting to drop the bomb in the near future
okay if this is true the wii is capable of almost the same graphics of the 360 which are 500 megahertz
do you guys think this is true?
i know it sounds to good to be true but you never know but right now the wii is capable of better graphics than every game it has released so far
I do think the Wii is more capable than most people think, and more than the current slew of games show. I do not think the Wii is as capable (in the graphics department) as a 360. I do think some Wii games of the future will really wow us, as Nintendo is famous for squeezing amazing performance out of limited hardware. Allowing 720 or 1080, however, is probably not going to happen. That just means that game developers would have to start coding games in that format, and if they were in preparation for an upcoming release, it would have been leaked by now. Not only that, but news that big/good is not something you would hide.
yes i've played the 360 especially gears of war and call of duty 3 but all i'm saying maybe nintendo is hiding something like the voice recognition chip in the wiimote for me that was a surprise

That would be really neat, but we would have found it by now 
There is no hardware for a wii mic, but there might be an add on (see the article in the portal) which opens up a whole bunch of neat possibilities (VoIP?)
z6joker9 well that makes sense but hey my friend is a wiihacker and he just updated the wii ati graphics card just a little bit and now his games look amazing he told me that the graphic card had lots of potential
the chip is true cnn found it in the wiimote but technically is not a microphone

First of all, Yoshi please don't double post. Also, the Wii can NOT output a clock rate of 400 MHz from its GPU, unless it was overclocked, and that seems impossible. Also, I refuse to believe that your "friend" hacked the Hollywood chip, because if he did, the games wouldn't look any different since they are already designed for the previous one. Hollywood runs at 243 MHz, and also, any GPU can output 20000p HD graphics, but the resulting 2fps and smoke coming from my Wii is the result.
No, I really doubt this. I think Nintendo's next console will at least have 720p.
I doubt it but future Wii games can do better then what's out now. Developers just need to more effort into them. Seems like Nintendo is the only one pushing Wii graphics as of now.

No doubt Wii can do better. The current standard of graphics is trash (apart from PBR)
