So yesterday, I was in Gamestop buying Wii points, and the guy behind the counter, really casually, not making a fuss or anything decided to inform me that "Oh yeah, by the way dude, Nintendo are officially launching the Star points to Wii points system in about 3 weeks time."
So I was there, as cool as you'd like "Oh really, that's sweet"

But then when I was leaving the shop I was all like, "Wait, what the funk? They are?"

And the dude was all like "Yup, we got confirmation"

This is something that Nintendo announced a while back where you can trade in your star points on your Club Nintendo Account to buy Wii points.


Some inside information, or are Gamestop getting ahead of themselves again?

Star Points are those points for that European Nintendo Fan Club thingy right? I believe I heard about this a little while before launch but then it faded into oblivion. (kinda like Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project H.A.M.M.E.R.)

What are star points? and what do they do

lol. often times ppl working at gamestores get bored and mess with customers. if Nintendo hasnt said anything up until 3 weeks of the "launch" then its not likely.

I have large amounts of doubt towards anything Gamestop employee's say.
